The One Forest Project's initiative was born to kick-start, support and promote projects to restore and protect forest ecosystems.

We implement targeted initiatives and advocate for responsible regulations to sustainably manage, restore, and protect both natural and modified ecosystems.

We need to work with nature rather than against it

"Forests harbour most of Earth’s terrestrial biodiversity.  The conservation of the biodiversity is therefore entirely dependent on the way in which we interact with and use the world’s forests.

Forests provide habitats for 80 percent of amphibian species, 75 percent of bird species and 68 percent of mammal species. About 60 percent of all vascular plants are found in tropical forests."

“A society is defined not only by what it creates, but by what it refuses to destroy.”

We need to work with nature rather than against it, and now is the time to do it.

Around 1 million animal and plant species are now threatened with extinction, many within decades, more than ever before in human history.
